Gautam Menon always preferred Harris Jayaraj for his movies but there was a small misunderstanding between them and Gautam Menon decided to go on with AR Rahman. However the album got positive response among audience and became chartbuster. Apart from the soundtrack Simbu’s acting was the major strength for this movie, the way he played the role named Karthik. He just nailed it. There are many Simbu haters who loved his role in VTV. Trisha’s acting was also praised by audience. VTV Ganesh got popular after this movie. This movie wasn’t his first movie, his role in this movie was loved by all and he was the one who always encourage and helps Karthik(Simbu) in this movie.
