Anirudh & Simbu (STR) were charged under IPC sections for obscenity and IT Act for leaking the Beep Song to a Social Platform.
Anirudh Ravichander who earlier denied any involvement in the making of the Beep Song was asked by the Madras High Court to give a written Statement to Coimbatore Police before January 29th.
On January 12th, Anirudh reportedly gave a written statement in Coimbatore Police Station & tweeted the following message,
