Paiyaa (English: Boy) is a 2010 Indian Tamil romantic action film written and directed by N. Linguswamy. It stars Karthi and Tamannaah, with Milind Soman, Sonia Deepti and Jagan appearing in supporting roles.

The film follows the journey of two strangers – a jobless carefree man, living in Bangalore, and a woman with whom he has fallen in love. Upon the woman’s request, he drives her to Mumbai, while a group of gangsters follow them, planning to kidnap the woman. Meanwhile, the man also has a past in the city and he goes there to sort it out.

The film, produced by N. Subash Chandra Bose under the banner of Thirupathi Brothers and distributed by Dhayanidhi Alagiri’s Cloud Nine Movies, features a film score and soundtrack composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography by Madhi and editing by Anthony Gonsalves.

Following a lengthy pre-production phase, during which the film underwent major changes in its main cast and its technical crew, it began shooting in December 2008 at various locations throughout South India, most notably in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra. The film was released on 2 April 2010 to predominantly positive reviews and was commercially successful.

A Telugu dubbed version of the film titled Awara was released on 21 May in Andhra Pradesh and also received positive response and it was also dubbed in Hindi as Bhaai – Ek Gangster.

Paiyaa was remade in Bengali in 2012 as Jaaneman, starring Soham Chakraborty and Koel Mallick, and in Kannada in 2014 as Ajith, with Chiranjeevi Sarja playing the male lead.

Velaiilla Pattadhari (English: Unemployed Graduate), popularly referred to as VIP, is a 2014 Indian Tamil masala film written, directed and filmed by Velraj, in his directorial debut.

The film features Dhanush, Amala Paul in the lead roles, while Vivek, Saranya Ponvannan, Samuthirakani and Surabhi play supporting roles.

Dhanush, besides acting, producing and distributing the venture in association with Escape Artists Motion Pictures, also worked as the lyricist and album producer on the film’s original soundtrack with composer Anirudh Ravichander, who also composed the film’s background score.

The film focuses on Raghuvaran, a graduate who is unemployed for four years, and how he gets a job, whilst successfully overcoming various obstacles before and after finding employment.

Principal photography commenced in August 2013 and was completed by May 2014, with the film being shot primarily in Chennai.

The film was released on 18 July 2014, and received positive critical reception. The film grossed ₹ 190.8 million on its opening weekend and earned a worldwide collection ₹ 530 million during its lifetime run.

The film was dubbed into Telugu as Raghuvaran B.Tech, which was released on 1 January 2015.

This song is a soup song with censored words and literally damaging Women.

The song began to spread virally via Whatsapp and other Social Services!

Many STR fans have opposed this song as it damages women feelings.

Soup songs become instant hit because of the craze towards them.

Anirudh’s first soup song ” Why this Kolaveri Di ” was a massive hit and now this song is hit among the youngsters.

While Social Activists and Women Organizations oppose the Song, STR’s this one gets good support from the Youth in Social Media.

STR’s reply regarding the issue was that the song was meant to be between friends only and one of his friends leaked it via WhatsApp and that got viral due to repeated posting to multiple WhatsApp Groups.

Anirudh refused that he was one of the singers and he composed the music of the song on Twitter from Canada.

Irudhi Suttru (English: Final Round) / Saala Khadoos is an upcoming bilingual sports drama film written and directed by Sudha Kongara.

The film features R. Madhavan in the leading role as a boxing coach, with newcomer Ritika Singh as an aspiring boxer, and the film was shot simultaneously in Tamil and Hindi, under the title Saala Khadoos.
