CM Jayalalitha’s Health gets critical according to a recent Press Release Issued by the Apollo Hospitals, Chennai.
In a fresh statement released on Monday morning, Apollo Hospital said that Chief Minister Jayalalithaa is undergoing continued treatment.
She continues to be very critical and is on ECMO and other life support systems, the release said.
She is being treated and closely monitored by a team of experts.
While reports had been indicating that the Chief Minister was steadily improving till even Saturday afternoon, things took a sudden turn on Saturday evening when it was announced that she had suffered a cardiac arrest and was in a critical condition.
As news spread, thousands of supporters arrived at Apollo Hospital, and Chennai remained tense.
