Mugen Rao was born on the 20th of October 1995 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. His father Prakash Rao Krishnan was a singer and stage performer. Mugen grew up looking up to his father. His mother works in an infrastructure company. He is a Malaysian but loves to work with the Kollywood industry. He is a singer and Lyricist. He did his schooling in Kuala Lumpur. He was an active participant in singing.
