Just now we got a news on “Tamil Nadu police attacking and arresting Tamil Nadu Fishermen”. Background of the story is 2 days ago Tamil Nadu Police did not allow any food or water for the students who were protesting at Marina, then Tamil Nadu fishermen helped students by bringing the foods and waters from their boats to marina along with Seeman.
Now all the protests are over and Tamil Nadu government also approved student’s request to lift the ban on Tamil Nadu. Students are happy now in their homes safely while the Fishermen who helped them are in trouble. The Police have arrested many fishermen who resides near Marina beach for helping the protesters. TN police also arrested some students from several districts from Tamil Nadu assuming they participated in the protests. Sad summary is the fishermen who helped youngsters are now under threat looking for help.
