Dhruva Natchathiram is a spy thriller film starring Vikram, Ritu Sharma and Aishwarya Rajesh. This film is written and directed by Gautham Menon and the music is compiled by Harris Jayaraj. Airra is a Tamil-Telugu bilingual film in which Nayanthara is playing a double role for the first time. Directed by KM Sarjun and produced by Kotapadi Rajesh, Airra is expected to be released in the first half this year.

Super Deluxe is written and directed by Thiagarajan Kumararaja of Aaranya Kaandam fame. It features Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Samantha Akkineni and Ramya Krishnan in lead roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the music for this film.

After Theri and Mersal, Thalapathi Vijay joins hands with Atlee for this third film. Music is done by Academy Award-winner A.R.Rahman. Keerthy Suresh, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Radha Ravi and Yogi Babu are playing important roles in this movie which is expected to release in the first half of this year.

Dev is an action-adventure film inspired by the life of the former Indian cricket team captain Kapil Dev. Debutant Rajath Ravishankar has directed this film and the female lead is Rakul Preet Singh. Prakash Raj and Ramya Krishnan are playing supporting roles in the movie. Harris Jayaraj is the music composer of this movie.

Shankar’s next big-budgeted movie Indian 2 starring Kamal Haasan is expected to start filming this year. Kajal Aggarwal has confirmed that she is playing the female lead and Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn are being considered to play the antagonists. The music is composed by A.R Rahman.
