The stars of Kollywood gathered in Chennai for one of the biggest award shows in the south film industry, the 10th annual Vijay Awards was held on Sunday and Tamil cinema artists won the awards for their exemplary work. The function was attended by many of the popular celebrities in Tamil film industry.
Among the award winners, Mersal and Vikram Vedha that dominated the awards list, and also Aruvi and Kaatru Velliyidai won multiple awards. Mersal took away most of the popular choice awards voted by fans. Nayanthara grabbed both the Best Actress as well as the Favourite Heroine awards, while Vijay Sethupathi took away the Best Actor Award.
