SA Chandrasekar about Vijay’s Political Career
Father of Ilayathalapathy Vijay, Director SA Chandrasekar has said that VMI (Vijay Makkal Iyakkam) will not support any parties in the upcoming RK Nagar elections. He says that he doesn’t want Vijay to join politics at the moment, also he confirmed that Ilayathalapathy Vijay will not join politics.
This is a different type of response from SAC regarding Vijay’s Political entry when compared to his plan for Vijay’s career few years ago. In the past decade Vijay’s entry to the politics was mostly talked by people of Tamil Nadu and Ilayathalapathy Vijay faced lots of criticism and probems due to his political interest. His movies were titled after MGR’s old movie names (Vettaikaran) and he chosed political related scripts (Sura), his movies got flopped and his movie Thalaivaa was indirectly banned by the government of Tamil Nadu. After then Vijay started to avoid political based stories and he distanced himself from the leading political parties and started to concentrate on his cinema career.
