Did BCCI force Dhoni to resign?

Mahendra Singh Dhoni gave up his captaincy from limited overs on 4th of January. this news shocked cricket fans all over the globe. Dhoni captained Team india for almost 10 years. Under MS Dhoni India have won 3 ICC trophies.

Now a new information has come that Dhoni resigning from the captaincy was an inside job. The Chief selector of BCCI MSK Prasad had given some pressure to Dhoni on giving up the captaincy to Virat Kohli. So India can focus on World Cup in 2019 under Kohli’s captaincy. It is difficult to tell whether this is a good decision or will this backfire as we see the performance of Indian team under Virat Kohli in limited overs.
