A team from Bangalore is going to be shuttling between Bangalore and Chennai for the next couple of days. With rainfall decreasing over the last two days, Chennai city is recovering slowly. Water has started receding in many parts. Saidapet bridge is reported to be opened for public traffic. Parts of Kolathur, Annanagar, Sterling road areas, have power restored. Mambalam, Mylapore, and TTK road which were hugely impacted, water is reported to be slowly receding. Certain areas of Nandanam, Egmore, Purasaiwalkam, Kolathur and Kilpauk still seems to have inundated streets.
