Irudhi Suttru Movie is produced by Y Not Studios, UTV Motion Pictures and Thirukumaran Entertainment. About 15 years back, Madhavan aka Mady was a craze among young girls all over TamilNadu. This Movie is directed by Sudha Kongara, a Female Director & Screen Writer from Andhra Pradesh.
In the Movie, Prabhu Selvaraj (Madhavan) is a Boxing Coach in Sikar, a city in Rajasthan. Being called the Best Boxing Coach in India, he gets into problems with his Higher Authorities. So, He was transferred to Chennai. Madhavan challenges his higher officers that he will make a Boxing Champion from Chennai.
Madhi (Ritika Singh) is a woman selling fish in Kasimedu Slum. Her Elder Sister Lux (Mumtaz Sorcar) wants to somehow win the Boxing Match and become a Police Officer. From their Childhood, Madhi & Lux used to watch Muhammad Ali’s Boxing Matches and try to fight like him. Madhi didn’t have any aim to win any matches, she just wants to fight like Muhammed Ali.
This leads her to Prabhu Selvaraj, At first, She gets greedy for Money and accepts to learn Boxing. Then She finds out the Strong Ambition of Madhavan & takes it as her own challenge. Her Elder Sister, Lux was not happy with the things that were going on & they both fight.
Then Lux indirectly made her Sister Madhi lose the Competition. Prabhu, who loses temper easily gets angry and sends her away.
Did Madhi come back to Prabhu? Did Prabhu win his Challenge? That’s the Movie!
Madhavan, coming back to Kollywood Cinema after a long gap, stuns the Viewers with his Dialogues. His Beep dialogues and His acting in the Movie shows that there’s more coming.
Ritika Singh, being a Real World Boxer liked this Movie Script as it suits her well. Her Style & Performance as a Fish Seller, a local rowdy and a Boxer is really appreciatable.
Every Actor in the Movie was used to their Full Potential. Although her first Movie didn’t go well, Sudha Kongara gave a good one this time.
Director Sudha Kongara, Although her first Movie didn’t turn out to be good, She gave a Rocking One as her Second Movie.
Songs were placed perfectly so that they don’t affect the screenplay of the Movie.
