Police forces Jallikattu Protestors to vacate Marina
Even as mass police forces were deployed at Marina Beach – the epicentre of the Makkal Movement – some of the protestors demanding a ‘permanent solution’ on Jallikattu still threaten to continue agitation unless demands are met. While forces managed to block entries to the beach and evict a large number of protestors, the remaining crowd still continues the uproar.
It came to light that police have called in water cannons and tear gas gear for as precautionary measure to tackle the situation. However, reports coming now suggest that police have resorted to using tear gas in some areas of the beach, after the initial lathi charge. Check out the Video Attached Below:
