After the Hindi Movie ‘English Vinglish’, Sridevi’s next Tamil Movie was ‘Puli’ starring top actors like Vijay, Shruti Hassan and Hansika. Since, It was Sridevi’s entry into Tamil Cinema after a 25 Years Gap, there was a huge expectation among the audience.
Sridevi’s Fans who has crossed 40 years were too excited to watch the movie. But When the movie was released, People were not happy with her role. They expected somewhat like a Ramya Krishnan’s SivaGami Role in Baahubali Movie. She was not taken in Baahubali due to her high salary expectations.
All her fans expected a lot of screenplay and speech for her, So all her fans were frustrated and She was also not happy about it.

tamilglitz should recruit some well informed article writers. The writer of this crap article doesnot know that Puli has already grossed 75 to 80 Cr worldwide in first 4 days. And who told bafoon that Sri fans are above 40 only. English-Vinglish has made even teenagers her big fans. And nobody is frustrated with her performance in Puli. Even in a small role she has completely stolen the show.

Vijay is a very talented actor but they couldn’t use him properly

The film is a flop just accept the fact being a vijay is cool even I am but this is about cinema not a personal thing

The collections seems bit less than expected because many shows were cancelled on 1 Oct because of IT raids. Movie released in AP/T on other day only. Hindi version promotions are zero. Despite these odds 75-80 Cr is still a gr8 collection for a movie made on budget of over 100 Cr.
I have nothing to say abt VJ. My point is Sri can steal the show irrespective of length of the role.
